Portraits
Already for the past six years or so, I portray Martijn Aslander. When his girlfriend asked us what made us work so well together, we both answered: “trust. For him it’s the trust I can photograph him in the right way and that the photos have sort of a timeless quality. For me it is trust as well. Martijn trusts me to do my thing, and therefor I trust that he will show himself exactly the way I need him to.
Again it was a nice shoot… in his back garden… formal and informal at the same time.
Some of the older black and white work is still used often!
